Men's Journal shares with us a secret way of flying on private jets. 50 hours of NetJet time can go for a little over a half of million dollars. Don't have a half a million, don't fret.
Most of the private clubs over last-minute deals to fill empty legs. An empty leg? An empty leg is when the planes are being repositioned for a future flight ie getting a plane to the starting destination.
The easiest place to find some of these deals is here. Jetsuit post SuiteDeals, as the call the program, are posted daily for flights approximately 48 hours before departure. When I visited the website, here were the deals available:
None of the options were amazing. However, according to the article, some of the top places on the list are:
Los Angles to Las Vegas
DC to New York
New York to West Palm Beach
Boston to New York
Remember this is only a one-way flight. You need to get back from destination at your own expense. However, if you can fill the plane ie 6 people, the price might make sense. More important, the experience would be awesome. What else do you need?
